The USI AMIC1510SB is a professional-grade 3-in-1 hardwired combination alarm that protects against smoke, fire, and carbon monoxide threats in a single ceiling or wall-mounted unit. Powered by Universal Security Instruments' patented Sensing Plus Multi-Criteria Detection Technology, this alarm combines an ionization smoke chamber with an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor to deliver accurate protection against fast-flaming fires, slow-smoldering fires, and silent CO threats while helping to reduce nuisance alarms. The hardwired 120V AC connection with 10-year embedded alkaline battery backup provides a decade of continuous protection - even during power outages. Interconnection capability links this alarm to compatible USI devices throughout the home for synchronized whole-house warning.
