Construction 

Construction Specifications

  1. Conductor: Made of bare copper conforming to ASTM B3. The conductor is solid for sizes #14 AWG to #10 AWG, and Class B compressed stranded for sizes #8 AWG to #2 AWG, as per ASTM B8.
  2. Insulation: All phase and neutral conductors are insulated with a Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) compound featuring a Nylon sheath. The color coding is as follows:
    • 2-conductor: Black and White
    • 3-conductor: Black, Red, and White
    • 4-conductor: Black, Red, Blue, and White
  3. Grounding: The grounding conductor is made of solid soft-drawn bare copper, wrapped with kraft paper.
  4. Binder: Kraft paper is used as a binder.
  5. Jacket: The cable is jacketed with a Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) compound that incorporates SIMpull Technology.
