The BRK SMICO110 delivers convenient 2-in-1 protection against both fire and carbon monoxide in a single easy-to-install detector. Combining ionization smoke sensing technology with an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor, the SMICO110 provides comprehensive home safety in one alarm - eliminating the need to install and maintain separate smoke and CO detectors. The built-in 10-year sealed lithium battery provides uninterrupted power for the entire life of the detector, eliminating battery replacement costs and low-battery chirps for a decade. A one-touch test/silence button confirms the combination alarm is functioning correctly and lets you silence nuisance alarms with ease. The 85 dB horn at 10 feet ensures the alarm is audible throughout the room, while the audible end-of-life warning lets you know when the alarm should be replaced after 10 years of continuous operation. Battery-operated standalone design mounts easily on any wall or ceiling with no wiring required. Meets the latest UL 217 industry standards for combination smoke and CO alarms. Direct replacement for the older SCO2LB model. Ideal for bedrooms, hallways and common areas in homes, apartments, rental properties and multifamily buildings.
