The Kidde 900-CUAR is a hardwired combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarm that protects your family from two of the most serious home hazards in a single device. Operating on 120V AC with two AA backup batteries (included), it delivers continuous detection even during power outages. The photoelectric smoke sensor identifies smoldering fires while the electrochemical sensor detects dangerous CO concentrations from any combustion source. Self-testing components continuously verify the alarm is working properly, and the Hush feature lets you temporarily silence nuisance alarms from cooking or steam. With hardwired interconnect capability for up to 24 Kidde devices, this 85 dB alarm provides whole-home protection backed by a 10-year limited warranty.
