The BRK SLED177 (Cat 1038510) is an ADA-compliant hearing-impaired strobe light specifically designed for residential and institutional applications including sleeping rooms of hospitals, hotels, motels, public housing, dormitories and other multifamily dwellings. This state-of-the-art Smart Strobe provides hearing impaired individuals with a clear visual warning of fire or carbon monoxide danger when used with BRK or First Alert smoke, heat or carbon monoxide alarms. The Smart Strobe features separate flash patterns to distinguish between smoke/heat and carbon monoxide hazards, helping deaf and hard-of-hearing residents identify the danger present at a glance. The 177 candela LED strobe meets UL 1971 requirements and flashes at an average of 60 times per minute. Operating on 120V AC with a green power-on LED indicator, the SLED177 can be interconnected with up to 18 BRK/First Alert devices (maximum 12 smoke alarms). Contractor-preferred features include a dust cover, easy twist-lock mounting bracket and a Quick-Connect wiring harness. At half the size of standard strobe alarms, the SLED177 delivers professional-grade visual alerting in a sleek, low-profile design.
